The Minister for Regional Youth, Hon. Ben Franklin MLC. announced the 2022 Taskforce members. Benjamin Healey was selected to represent the Illawarra and Shoalhaven region on this 18 Member Regional Youth Taskforce.https://www.nsw.gov.au/regional-nsw/regional-youth-taskforce

All 6 Youth Council Members were awarded the OUTSTANDING YOUNG CITIZENS AWARD by the Kiama Electorate on 29 November 2021

Award Citation: “Awarded to a young person (under 25) who has made an enormous contribution to our local community across a range of different endeavours and categories. This person exemplifies the values of citizenship, leadership and giving back to our community.”
